Many people think that Cougar Life is the gold standard when it comes to cougar dating and finding that hot cougar woman of your dreams. Well, if that were the case, I’d’ have them on my main review page instead of in a separate review article. However, there is a ton of interest in this site and a lot of searches so I thought that I would give it it’s due and put a review up.
Yes, there are cougar women to be found here. The problem is that you are probably going to have to weed through a lot of red tape and fake profiles to get to them. Unfortunately, this isn’t necessary.
The site has made a big name for itself with all of the advertising and affiliation with Ashley Madison. If they would just let the thing rest on it’s laurels and operate legitimately, it would probably rise to the top of the heap on its’ own. Instead, they shoot themselves in the foot, with the fake profiles and “contacts” that you will receive upon signing up from women who really don’t even fit the bill as “cougar women” at all – unless you’re 12.
Are there redeeming qualities here? Absolutely! There are still plenty of legit older women for dating to be found here. One thing that you need to remember is that the ratio is pretty lopsided so these women are being inundated with messages from younger guys. If you’re not getting responses from all, or any, of them it doesn’t necessarily mean that they are fake. Also CougarLife.com has a great advance search feature that enables you to search for the specific type of woman that you’re looking for. Right on your Dashboard, you are also able to see when a new member signs up.
There are big numbers here – Cougar Life receives 650,000 visits per month and 180,000 of those are unique visitors. The stats that I found say that 62% of those are men and 38% are women. It serves the United States, Canada, UK, Australia, Ireland and Spain. You can connect with potential matches via Chat, Email, IM and Photo Sharing. There is certainly opportunity here to find cougar women and I was a member of this site briefly in the past. Is it in my Top 3? No, it’s not but I still wouldn’t discount it completely.
